We are conveniently located in Milton at 311 Commercial Street, in the Professional Medical Building across from the Milton District High School. Parking is free. Overflow parking is also avaialble across the street at Brian Best Park. Our facility is wheelchair accessible.

Notre philosophie

Lifemark Physiotherapy River Ridge is located in the heart of old Milton on Commercial St. between Derry and Main St, we are one of Milton's longest standing clinics.

We are a multidisciplinary clinic offering a variety of specialty services including concussion care following sport or work injuries and following motor vehicle accidents. We proudly support our team members in their continuing education to develop the highest quality specialty services including concussion care, treatment for vertigo, sports-specific training, and more. Our assessment services are accredited by CARF International, an achievement that signals our commitment to excellence.

At Lifemark Physiotherapy River Ridge we offer comprehensive baseline testing including Impact and post-concussion treatment for children and adults. We offer vestibular rehabilitation to treat vertigo as well as other illnesses causing dizziness and balance problems . We believe in a client-centered approach to treatment that involves YOU in treatment planning and goal setting.

Our team includes physiotherapists, registered massage therapist, athletic therapist/kinesiologist, and occupational therapist. We are dedicated to staying up to date with current research and courses to better address the needs of our patients, and provide evidenced-based care and best practices on health care trends and treatment planning.

La clinique

The clinic is equipped with four private treatment rooms and a large open-concept gym with a wide variety of exercise equipment including treadmills, upright and recumbant bikes, leg press machines, cable/pulley machines, free weights, and resistance bands. You can purchase the same resistance bands in our gym for home use so that you can ensure you are following the recommended exercise and intensity prescribed.

The gym also houses an adjustable shelving unit and wheeled cart in our lifting station to customize work simulation tasks and complete functional testing. This ensures we are matching your actual abilities to any work or activity demands you aspire meeting.

More about our services

In addition to Physiotherapy, our team includes our athletic therapist/kinesiologist who has extensive training and experience in exercise prescription, instruction, and cueing to ensure you are maximizing both gains and goals during treatment sessions and at home. She can work with you independently or alongside your physio to design exercise, stretches, and/or wellness programs for postural correciton, athletic performance, weight management, injury prevention, or rehabilitation.

We have established an exemplary concussion clinic treating both acute and persistent concussion symptoms. Our expert team includes physiotherapy, athletic, and occupational therapy. They have the knowledge and exerpertise to provide activity modification, education, and exercise parameters as early as 1-2 days post injury. We also offer Impact baseline testing individually or as part of a comprehensive baseline assessment.

We also offer sports-specific training (pre-hab and return to sport post injury), functional movement screens, acupuncture, chronic pain managment, spinal manipluation, prenatal and infant massage, and much more.

Our clinic staff can help confirm your health insurance coverage. Your treatment may be partially or fully covered if you have extended health benefits, a worker's compensation claim, or were injured in a motor vehicle accident.

Appointment cancellation policy

To help us provide timely care to all patients, we require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments (no-shows), will be charged the full appointment fee.
