Parking is located adjacent to the YMCA in their gated parking lot. Above and Underground parking is available free of charge. Metered street parking is also available, and we are adjacent to many downtown bus routes.

Notre philosophie

Lifemark Physiotherapy Downtown London is located inside the Centre Branch YMCA in the heart of London’s Downtown Core. Our clinical team includes Physiotherapists, a Massage Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Chiropractor and a Physiotherapy Asistant; all registered with their respective regulatory colleges. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff have a diverse background of education and special interests which brings an impressive depth and breadth to the therapeutic services we offer.

The clinic’s friendly and well-informed administrative staff are always available to assist with general inquiries, scheduling, and to help you navigate the often-complicated world of insurance paperwork.

Our Physiotherapists treat all musculoskeletal/orthopaedic issues as well as functional conditions associated with paediatric and adult neurological conditions (e.g. multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s diease, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, traumatic brain injury and stroke).

Our London area physiotherapy and rehab clinic is a spacious, open-concept area, that includes many private treatment rooms, as well as acces to the YMCA's newly renovated gym, turf, and weight equipment, cardio area, and both small and large pool, sauna and hot tub.

We provide several therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, russian current, acupuncture and electro-acupuncture, moist heat, ice, and electrical stimulation (both TENS and IFC).

All services are available during designated evenings.

Education and fitting of rehab equipment such as braces, splints, and more
Acupuncture and trigger point dry needling (Intramuscular Stimulation or IMS)
Pre-/Post-Employment health and functional screening
Job site assessments and ergonomic evaluations
Functional capacity/ability evaluations
Independent medical/physiotherapy examinations

In addition to our physiotherapy and chiropractic services, we offer specialized programs in:

Pelvic health (pain, pre- and post-partum, incontinence, urgency, prolapse and erectile dysfunction)
Vestibular (dizziness and balance) rehab including BPPV and other inner ear dysfunctions, as well as unsteadiness related to neurological impairments
Concussion management and baseline testing

Our occupational therapist can assist with education, home exercises, and provision of strategies and equipment to assist patients in any of our treatment programs.

Fall prevention coaching and custom-splinting are also offered. Our OT is trained in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques which help our patients in the following areas:

Developing coping strategies for depression and anxiety symptoms
Learning how to deal with changing life roles and altered self-image
Returning to daily activities using pacing and energy conservation strategies
Return-to-work planning

We also offer our clients access to our Alter G anti-gravity treadmill and access to the YMCA facilities.

Our clinic staff can help confirm your health insurance coverage. Your treatment may be partially or fully covered if you have extended health benefits, a worker's compensation claim, or were injured in a motor vehicle accident.

Coverage options available to you may include:

OHIP funded physiotherapy for all those who qualify

Please check your coverage in your company's extended health plan. Please note that for payment, all major credit cards, debit, and personal cheques are accepted.

Reminder: we are cashless.

Appointment cancellation policy

To help us provide timely care to all patients, we require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments (no-shows), will be charged the full appointment fee.
